''Tafsir al-Mizan'' ((アラビア語:تفسير الميزان)) is a Shi'a Muslim tafsir (or exegesis of the Quran) written by Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i.〔(Tafsir's entry @ Jarirbooksusa.com )〕 The book consists of 20 volumes originally written in Arabic.〔(Forward to Al-Mizan - An Exegesis of the Qur'an ) by Allamah as-Sayyid Muhammad Husayn at-Tabataba'i, Translated by: Sayyid Saeed Akhtar Rizvi〕 Up till now more than three editions have been printed in Iran and Lebanon.〔 Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i (1892-November 15, 1981) was one of the most prominent thinkers of philosophy and contemporary Shia Islam. He is famous for Tafsir al-Mizan, the Qur'anic exegesis.〔 ==Translations== Al-Mizan Translation in Persian:Seyed Mohammad Bagher Hamedani is translating tafseer in Persian. Al-Mizan Translation in Urdu: Ayatullah Hasan Raza Ghadiri is translating this tafseer in Urdu. Four volumes have been published.
